+1 to always feeling welcome; I (a dude) used to visit five days a week for class, and found that post to be entirely unfounded. I’m not too worried though, as I think it’s clear that the Community poster’s feelings are exclusively his own.

I’m a guy, was hanging out around tower court with my friend this morning when two girls walked past and said ‘i suppose you wanna stick a dagger in our asses too’ leaving me with a ‘what in the hell just happened?’ feeling, until my friend took a moment to explain the drama, and personally as someone completely unrelated to the incident i think it’s being taken too far.

I’m sorry. Part of the reason why the email was so bad is because it made a sweeping( & false) generalization about a group of people. Responding to it by making more generalizations is not helpful. However, I do hope you understand why this upset so many people and why the email warrants anger and action.
Fellow Wellesley Women: Please don’t misdirect your anger. Use the energy to help solve the problem through the appropriate channels. ( And trust me, I am ALL for dealing with this.)

there’s no reason to feel unwelcome. we’re smart enough to differentiate between one certain guy, and the male population in general. now if you look like this one certain guy, it’s a little hard to differentiate…but i assure you we are not man haters

This Jeremy Pham thing is sooooo entertaining. Pham your PR is worse than Tiger Woods; but at least Tiger Woods got some. But seriously that ACLU card was a sweet play, Jeremy.
